The generator operates based on the Gifford-McMahon technique, which uses helium compression and expansion to achieve low-temperature cooling. The system includes a sterile filter on the nitrogen gas line, ensuring that only clean, dry nitrogen gas enters the dewar, keeping the liquid nitrogen pure. It also features an oil-free air compressor with an anti-bacterial suction filter, and a reliable low-maintenance helium compressor unit. Once the internal dewar is filled, the system enters standby mode, saving power.
